Delete your account

The quickest way: delete it yourself

This takes effect immediately and needs nothing from us. The app reaches Google Play in September — until then, use the form below and we will do it for you.

1. Open the app and go to the Profile tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm.

You are signed out as soon as it finishes, and that email address can no longer be used to sign in.

If you have already uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or would simply rather we handled it, fill in the form below. You can also email care@instantinsan.com or message us on WhatsApp.

We check that the request really comes from the account holder before deleting anything, so please write from — or give us — the email address and phone number on the account. It is done within 7 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your name, profile photograph and phone number.
• Your email address and the sign-in credentials with it — the account is locked and cannot be recovered.
• Saved addresses that are not attached to a past booking, removed outright. Any attached to a booking have the street, city, pincode and map coordinates overwritten.
• Every notification in your inbox, and the device registrations used to send you push notifications.

What we keep, and why

The record of past bookings — date, service and amount — stays in our books with no personal details attached. Indian tax and accounting rules require us to keep records of completed transactions, and once the steps above have run there is nothing in those rows that identifies you.
